Congratulations to the Armstrong Ringsted Mustang 8 Man Football team- 2009 STATE CHAMPIONS! I am especially proud of my cousins Tyler Tonderum and Dakota Oderman. Way to go boys!
Happy Fall to everyone! We had a great Thanksgiving with family and lots of food. I cooked ham (yes, ham, not turkey) and all the fixings and took it to Amana to enjoy with Steve's parents. It was VERY DELICIOUS! How about them Denver Broncos!! What a roller coaster ride sesason. Thank god for the win on Thanksgiving vs the NY Giants.
Christmas is approaching quickly. It doesn't seem right that it is already going to be December. Nataly will be 5 months next week. Where does the time go? She has started eating baby food and cereal everyday. This girl can eat! She has gotten so big over the last 3-4 weeks. She is my chunky monkey right now.
Kadi is now in a regualar Kindergarden classroom. She loves her new teacher Ms. Schoen. Her teacher, speech coach and reading coach had WONDERFUL things to say about Kadi's progress. She loves to read her books everynight and go to the library for new ones. We are so proud of her and both her social and academic achievements.
Sophia continues to be our "good"child. We cannot praise her enough. She does well in school but lacks the desire to read. She will read and is very good at it, she just doesn't enjoy it. Her teacher gave us some suggestions to encourage her to read more - we will see how well they work in December.
I hope everyone takes time to enjoy the fall air before the snow flies, it is only a matter of time.

It has been a while...
Just a quick update on what is new with us.
Kadi is now in Kindergarden. They advanced her at the end of September and we couldn't be happier. I went on a field trip with her and her new class to the pumpkin patch. It was nice to get to know some of her new friends. It is hard staying connected to both girls class when they are at different schools.
Sophia is doing well. She is starting to enjoy reading so I am trying to encourage it more and more. In the past, she would read but didn't enjoy reading. She continues to be a really big helper with Nataly.
Steve is still home taking care of the household and Nataly. He does a GREAT job. Father of the century!
Nataly just started eating baby food. The little shit is growing so much right now. She wants to eat/drink constantly and is taking good naps during the day. She wakes up at night still to eat. I am going to try some cereal in her bottle before bed to see if that helps her sleep all night. I could use a couple of nights with good sleep. My mind never shuts off when I am up every 2-3 hours :(
We wish the Mustangs GOOD LUCK in their upcoming football games in the Dome. I wish I could come and watch but I can't. GO Dakota! GO Tyler! This year is their year- I can feel it.
I hope to start updating this more often, hopefully.

Checking In
Nothing exciting her the last couple of weeks. Nataly continues to grow like a weed. I am back to work now and loving it (did you sense the sarcasm). It was really hard to get back in the groove again but I did. It also did not take long to get back to me working on the weekends. Luckily I can take the kids with me and I think they actually missed the place. They make themselves right at home. Pizza, pop, movie on the computer screen and Nataly in her swing nearby. Just like home except there is a copy machine and printer next to them.
I took Nataly in for her 2 month check, and yes, shots. She had to have 3. She was NOT a happy camper. Poor Steve had to take care of her all day (like he does everyday) and she would not stop crying. Everytime she moved her legs, she screamed. The dr said she is Perfect (not that I didn't already know this). She is in the 75% for height, weight and head circumference. She now weighs 12 lbs. Sophia and Kadi also had check ups- no shots, just finger pokes. They too are growing like they should.
Tonight I put together Nataly's crib (Thank you Aunt Amy!). We also moved the other 2 girls back to their room in the basement. I am excited to have Nataly in her own room. It was getting cramped with all of Nataly's and the older girl's crap everywhere. The are packrats. Steve keeps looking for new houses, I have a feeling a move is going to come sooner rather than later.
Until later...... Melissa
